For those of you that don’t know yet (some know because I’ve posted it on Facebook and Twitter @JenaiHam), but a few weeks ago, I applied and was accepted as a book review blogger, which I will now refer to as BRB, for Thomas Nelson Publishers. Thomas Nelson is a Christian publishing company that’s published books like Donald Miller’s Blue Like Jazz, various Max Lucado books, and a few different versions of the NKJV bible.
So basically what I’m going to be doing is reading these books (various ones that I get to choose) and then posting a 200 word review about it on here (JenaiHamilton.com) and other sites like B&N.com, Amazon.com, etc. It’s pretty awesome because I love books and even better is that they send me the books for free and I keep them in return for my services.
I’m posting this so you guys will know the occasional turn that this blog will take sometimes, although I’m still going to have my usual rants and ravings.
What’s cool is that if you have a blog, you can apply to be a BRB at http://brb.thomasnelson.com . It took a few days for me to be accepted after I applied I guess so they could check and make sure my blog was legit and that I didn’t create it for the sake of getting free books from them. I’m not sure. But yeah apply and just wait a few days.
